Japan’s vehicle output down

A slight dip in domestic demand translated into a drop in Japan's vehicle production in July, the first such decline in seven months. The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association disclosed that the country's vehicle output decreased 2.5 percent to 903'495 units in July. Domestic vehicle demand in July totaled 517'148 units, down 1.2 percent from a year earlier.
