According to the data released by Japan Ship Exporters' Association (JSEA), Japanese export ship orders fell for the fourth straight month in August on a year-on-year basis, decreasing 74.4 percent to 346,300 gross tons.
In the first eight months this current year, Japanese shipbuilders received foreign orders for 876 ships, with a total gross ton of 40.28 million gross tons (17.51 million gross tons revised), fell approximately by 20 percent as compared to the same period last year
