Jack Hills Mineral Resource exceeds one billion mt

The Australian iron ore exploration company Murchison Metals Ltd (Murchison) has announced that the total iron ore resource at the Jack Hills Project in Western Australia's mid-west region is estimated to exceed one billlion mt.

The Jack Hills Mineral Resource now comprises direct ship ore (DSO)¬ 96 million mt t at 58.7 percent Fe and beneficiation feed (BFO) ¬ 991 million mt at 34.1 percent Fe.

The increase in the Jack Hills Mineral Resources is based on a drilling program
comprising 9,401 metres of diamond drilling (48 drill holes), 2,096 metres of diamond/RC drilling combined (7 drill holes) and 164,503 metres of RC drilling (765 drill holes).

The Jack Hills Project is owned and operated by Crosslands Resources Limited (Crosslands). Crosslands is owned as to 50 percent by Murchison and 50 percent by Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd (Mitsubishi), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan.
