Izjorsk receives API accreditation

Izjorsk Pipe Plant, subsidiary of Russian steel producer Severstal, has received accreditation of compliance with international certificates ISO 9001:2000, API Spec Q1 and ISO/TS 29001:2003 from the American Petroleum Institute (API). Izjorsk's general manager, Mr.Oleg Urnev, has commented that the API accreditation gives the green light for supplies of the plant's production to their consumers. Mr. Urnev also specified that the main priority of Izjorsk's work remains Gazprom's pipelines projects, in particular the underwater part of the Nord Stream gas pipeline project.
