ITC initiates review for steel sheets from Japan

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) instituted a five-year review for the antidumping duty on tin- and chromium-coated steel sheet imported from Japan. ITC issued a notice that it had instituted a five-year review to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on tin- and chromium-coated steel sheet from Japan would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury for US domestic industries. Interested parties are requested to submit their comments by August 22, 2005. The dumping deposit rates are as follows:

Producers/exporters Duty rate

Kawasaki Steel............................95.29%
Nippon Steel..............................95.29%
NKK Corporation...........................95.29%
Toyo Kohan................................95.29%
All Others................................35.52%
