ITC determination on SS wire rod imported from six countries
US International Trade Commission (ITC) has recently announced that it determined that revocation of the anti-dumping duty orders on
stainless steel
wire rod imported from
Italy,
Japan,
Korea,
Spain,
Sweden and
Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury for
US steel industry.
As a result of ITC determination and the affirmative finding of US Department of Commerce (DOC), the duties on the subject product imported from
Italy,
Japan,
Korea,
Spain,
Sweden and
Taiwan will remain in place.
The five-year reviews (sunset review) concerning
stainless steel
wire rod imported from the subject countries were initiated on August 1, 2003.
