Italy’s GDP rises one percent in Q1

In the first three months of the current year, Italy's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.1 percent quarter on quarter and by one percent year on year, according to data released by ISTAT, Italy's national statistics office.


During the same period, output of Italy's agricultural sector improved by 2.3 percent compared to the previous quarter, while the industry and services sectors were both up 0.1 percent quarter on quarter.
