In January this year, Italy's steel exports to non-EU countries totaled 380,000 metric tons, up by 19.1 percent, while its steel imports from non-EU sources totaled 657,000 metric tons, down by 0.3 percent, both year on year, according to the statistics released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai.
