Italy's crude steel output down 5.4 percent in October

In October this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by 5.4 percent year on year to 2.100 million metric tons, while in the first 10 months of the year the output figure amounted to 20.444 million mt, up 1.5 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai. A 0.7 percent year-on-year increase had been recorded in Italian crude steel output in September this year.
 
Italian crude steel output in October of the current year was also lower compared to the crude steel outputs of 2.464 million mt in October 2010, 2.725 million mt in October 2011 and 2.464 million mt in October 2012.
