Italy's crude steel output down 4.4 percent in November

In November this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by 4.4 percent year on year to 2.148 million metric tons, according to the figures released by Italian steel producers' association Federacciai. November is the 20th month in a row in which a year-on-year fall in output has been witnessed. In October this year, a 10.1 percent year-on-year decline had been observed in Italian crude steel production, which totaled 2.215 million mt in the given month.

In the January-November period of the current year, total Italian crude steel output amounted to 22.27 million mt, down 12.8 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
