In 2010, Italian steel producer Arvedi Group’s sales revenues rose 84 percent year on year to €1.8 billion, thanks to the increase in sale volume and the uptrend in steel prices. The local Italian market was the main destination for Arvedi’s carbon steel products, while its stainless steel products were mainly delivered to foreign customers.

In the period in question, Arvedi posted a net loss of €3.9 million, indicating an improvement over the performance of 2009 when the company registered a net loss of €10.4 million.
