Iron ore output from Pangang’s Baima mine up 65 percent in Q1

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has stated that the iron ore output from its Baima iron mine in the first quarter of the current year totaled 3.7367 million mt, up 65.46 percent year on year and constituting a record quarterly iron ore output for the mine.

Meanwhile, Pangang Group expects that for the whole of the current year the iron ore output from its Baima mine will see a 28 percent year-on-year increase to 15 million mt.
