Iron ore imports reached 334.25 million mt in China in H1

Yesterday, China's National Development and Reform Commission released metallurgy industry's operation situation in the first half of this year. In the January-June period of current, iron ore imports reached 334.25 million mt, an increase of 8.1%; semi-finished steel exports reached 280,000 mt, an increase of 6.8%; coking coal exports reached 2.45 million mt, an increase of 75.2%; coking coal output reached 210.38 million mt, an increase of 11.7%, ferrous alloy output reached 14.01 million mt, an increase of 21.7%.

Meanwhile, steel products exports reached 24.33 million mt, an increase of 3.2%, and imports 8.03 million, a decrease of 4.8%. National crude steel output reached 350.54 million mt, an increase of 9.6%,slowing 11.5%; Steel products output reached 437.41 million, an increase of 12.8%,
