Iranian miner Chador Malu’s iron ore output declines by six percent

Iranian miner Chador Malu produced 8,747,000 mt of iron ore (including concentrate, fines and lumps) in the first 11 months (21.03.2009-20.02.2010) of the current Iranian year, down about six percent compared to 9,267,000 mt in the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

IMIDRO also said that Chador Malu produced about 7.7 million mt of iron ore concentrate in the given period while producing about 1.07 million mt of fines and lumps in the same period.

Chador Malu, one of the main Iranian iron ore miners, is located in the central Iranian province of Yazd.
