Interpipe starts industrial trials at its new wheel production site

Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe has announced that it has started experimental industrial trials at its new production site for finish machining of railway wheels. The total investment in the project so far has been $6 million. The project is a part of a complex development program of the Interpipe wheel business. The launching of the new site has created 85 additional jobs.
 
Interpipe’s chief commercial officer (CCO) Alexander Garkavij stated that the launching of the new production site for finish machining of railway wheels will give the company a good opportunity to move into the market segment of passenger, metro and complex locomotive wheels.
