Solaris Industries, an international manufacturer of steel tubing, Tuesday announced it has opened its plant in Kings Mountain, North Carolina to meet the needs of a growing customer base in the United States.

Solaris Industries specializes in mechanical and coated steel tubing.

"The decision to establish ourselves in the United States, a promising market for us, was part of our long-term strategy and development plan. The choice to locate this plant in North Carolina was a strategic one. Next to a major highway, this new facility has ample space to expand and add additional manufacturing capacity to capture our fair share of the market", said the President and CEO of Solaris Industries, Denis Boulais.

Solaris' parent company, Delhi-Solac has two plants in Canada.  Over the last three years, it has doubled its market share in Canada and solidified its position in several of the markets that it serves. Delhi-Solac already has a number of clients in the United States, notably in such industries as fencing, horse stalls, garage doors, and others.
