Industrial production in Ukraine declines by 5.2% in Jan-Oct

Industrial production in Ukraine in October this year fell by 4.9 percent compared to October 2012, compared to year-on-year declines of 5.6 percent and 5.4 percent respectively in September and August this year, according to Ukraine’s State Statistics Service.
 
In the first 10 months of the current year, the decline in industrial production was 5.2 percent year on year.
 
The service also said that in October this year industrial production in Ukraine increased by 7.4 percent compared with September.
 
Ukraine’s industrial production in January-October 2012 had risen by 0.2 percent compared to January-October 2011, while industrial production in Ukraine last year fell by 1.8 percent year on year.
