Indonesian PT Delta Prima Steel to build 100,000 mt billet mill

It is reported that Indonesian steel producer PT Delta Prima Steel plans to commission a new billet mill with an annual output of 100,000 mt in the province of South Kalimantan in the first quarter of 2011.

Accordingly, the construction of the mill is scheduled to be started in the first months of next year. The new billet mill will be equipped with units for processing direct reduction iron (DRI). The raw materials for PT Delta Prima Steel's new mill will be supplied from its mine located nearby.
