Indonesia initiates AD investigation against CRC from several countries

 The Indonesian Antidumping Committee has announced the launch of an antidumping (AD) investigation against cold rolled coil (CRC) products imported from Japan, South Korea, the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Vietnam at the request of local Indonesian steel producer Krakatau Steel.
 
The customs codes of the products in question are: 7209160010, 7209170010, 7209189000, 7209260010, 7209270010, 7209289000, 7209909000, 7211232000, 7211239090, 7211292000, 7211292000, 7211299000, 7211921000 and 7211909000.
 
In 2010, China exported 168,000 mt of CRC to Indonesia, with the total value reaching $115 million. During the first five months of the current year, the aggregate import value of ex-China CRC products arriving in Indonesia came to $62.27 million.
