India’s SSWL sees 11.5 percent rise in net sales in May

The Indian steel rim producer Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has announced that it registered net sales of INR 878.2 million ($15.77 million) in May, up 11.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2011.

In terms of units sold, in May SSWL sold 956,000 steel wheel rims, rising by 5.6 percent compared to 903,000 wheel rims sold in the same month of the previous year, while the company's wheel rim exports increased to 150,434, up 13.8 percent year on year.
