India's iron ore exports increase
India's iron ore exports rose 15 percent from 78.1 million metric tons in 2004-2005 to 90 million metric tons in 2005-2006. According to the reports, the main buyers were the medium and small Chinese steel mills. Nearly 90 percent of iron ore, which was exported, was low grade.
