India’s Directorate General for Antidumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) has recommended final antidumping (AD) duty rates on imports of cold rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel originating in or exported from China, Japan, South Korea and Ukraine. The recommended duty rates are equivalent to the difference between the minimum reference price of $576/mt for cold rolled flat steel and the realized import prices.

The investigation launched in April last year, upon a complaint received from Indian producers Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), JSW Steel Limited, JSW Steel Coated Products Limited and Essar Steel India Limited, was carried out for the period from July 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015.

The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7209, 7211, 7225 and 7226.
