Indiana's chamber and economic development center, One Southern Indiana and the City of Jeffersonville announced Friday, October 22, that flat-rolled steel processing company, VOSS Clark plans to improve and expand its steel processing facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Contingent on the approval of tax abatement by the Jeffersonville City Council, VOSS Clark will invest $3.65 million in new equipment and $1.66 million in real estate improvements through 2011.
"The improvements include the upgrading of our steel processing equipment, the installation of a third blanking press and a building for storage of steel coils," said Joseph Rhodea, President of VOSS Clark.
"These enhancements will improve our efficiency and position at VOSS Clark to meet the future challenges of the steel processing industry," added Rhodea.
The company currently employs 111 and has plans to add at least 8 new jobs, representing approximately 400,000 in new annual pay roll, within the next 12 months.
