India posts robust increase in iron ore exports
India's iron ore exports jumped 134% year on year to $2.63 billion during the April-March 2004/05 period, according to data from the Indian Commerce Ministry. Furthermore, finished iron and steel exports rose 46.6% to $3.63 billion during the same period. Ferroalloy exports amounted to $182.31 million, an increase of 115.5% year on year.India posts robust increase in iron ore exports
