Huaying Steel Sheet breaks ground for electrical steel project

Zhejiang Province, China-based Huaying Steel Sheet Industry and Technology Co. has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new project for the production of electrical steel. The total annual output capacity will be 500,000 mt. 
 
The project is scheduled to be implemented in two stages, which are expected to be completed by June 2012 and June 2013 respectively. The products in question can be used in the manufacture of wind power turbines, inverter-fed electric motors, voltage transformers and electric vehicles.
