Huaigang Special Steel produces 2.444 million mt of pig iron in H1

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Huaigang Special Steel Co., a subsidiary of Shagang Group, produced a total of 2.444 million mt of pig iron in the first half of the current year, as reported by local Chinese media sources.

A coke usage rate of 376.685 kg/mt and a coal usage rate of 155.208 kg/mt were indicated for the producer's pig iron production in the given period. Huaigang Special Steel achieved it pig iron output target for the first six months with the above volume.
