Home sales in Turkey up 178.2 percent in Q2

In the second quarter of the current year, home sales in Turkey increased by 178.2 percent as compared to the second quarter of 2012 and were up 7.7 percent quarter on quarter, with 295,010 houses sold, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the first quarter of 2013, home sales in Turkey had increased by 28.6 percent as compared to the fourth quarter of 2012 and were up 89 percent year on year, with 273,826 houses sold.
