Hebei Steel Group targets operating revenue of RMB 250 billion in 2012

Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group (Hebei Steel) has announced that it is targeting a crude steel output of 46 million mt and a total operating revenue of RMB 250 billion ($39.37 billion) in 2012.
 
However, Hebei Steel has not yet released its financial results for 2011. In 2010, its aggregate operating revenue stood at RMB 227.097 billion ($35.76 billion), while its net profit came to RMB 4 billion ($630 million). Meanwhile, its total crude steel production in 2010 amounted to 44.78 million mt.
