Hebei Province continues integration of local mines

According to information released by Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the local government of the Chinese province of Hebei continues to maintain its focus on the intergration of local mines, with the number of mining companies in the province to be reduced from the current figure of 440 to 171 by the end of 2010.

Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission said that integration work in 382 mining areas has been completed in the province since the beginning of the 11th five-year plan period (2006-2010), with the overall number of mining companies in the province being reduced by 950 in the given period.
