Hebei Iron and Steel’s finished steel exports rise by 388 percent in Jan-Nov

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Corporation Ltd has announced that in the first 11 months of the current year the company's aggregate finished steel exports totaled 1,420,500 mt, up 387.64 percent as compared to the corresponding period of 2009. Hebei Iron and Steel Corp. has thereby achieved its export target for the whole of 2010 one month ahead of schedule. In the given period, the company's finished steel export value amounted to $1.016 billion, up by 379.25 percent year on year.

The company's finished steel export volume for the whole of 2010 is expected to reach 1.5 million mt, with an export value of $1.05 billion.
