Harsco to provide briquetting, micro-pelletizing services for JSW Steel

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based industrial service company Harsco Corporation announced Thursday has signed two environmental solutions contracts valued at $135 million with India's JSW Steel Ltd.

Under the contracts, Harsco will be involved in briquetting and micro-pelletizing iron and steelmaking by-products at JSW's Vijayanagar flat-rolled and long steel plant. Harsco will recover high-value iron content from finished products in the manufacturing of new steel and iron.
