Hanzhong Steel commissions converter furnace No. 1

Chinese steelmaker Hanzhong Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Chinese steel producer Shaanxi Steel Group, has successfully commissioned its converter furnace No. 1, as reported by local Chinese media.
 
The construction of the converter furnace No. 1 is part of Hanzhong Steel's Jianan program which includes a continuous casting project and a converter furnace project. The program has a designed annual steel production capacity of 3 million mt.
