Hansteel sees strong increase in CR sheet orders in Jan-Nov

On December 2, Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS) announced that in the first 11 months of the current year the cold rolling mill of its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel) received orders for 293,000 mt of automotive grade sheet and for 193,000 mt of sheet for application in home appliance manufacture, up 114.4 percent and 54.8 percent respectively, both year on year. Hansteel's cold rolling mill has been focusing on increasing its range of cold rolled sheet products, having recently developed HCT780X+Z, HC340/600DPD+Z and HC220BD+Z automotive sheet grades as well as DX51D+Z-HC and DX53D+Z-TC grades of sheet for application in home appliances.
