Hansteel inks strategic cooperation agreement with ABB China

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel), a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS), has announced that it recently signed a cooperation agreement with ABB China. According to the agreement, ABB China will create opportunities for purchases of Hansteel products, especially for use in manufacturing electrical equipment. In addition, ABB China will provide a high quality service for Hansteel as several production lines at Hansteel are equipped by ABB.

ABB, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and listed on the Zurich, Stockholm, and New York stock exchanges, is a world leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility, industry, and transport and infrastructure customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact.
