Hangzhou Iron and Steel’s Q1 sales revenue reaches RMB 13.584 billion

In the first quarter of this year Chinese steelmaker Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group, based in the eastern province of Zhejiang, posted respective pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs of 718,700 mt, 947,500 mt and 958,400 mt, indicating year-on-year increases of 65,800mt, 88,800 mt and 191,000 mt.

In January-March this year, the company's total sales revenue came to RMB 13.584 billion ($1.991 billion); of this sum steel sector sales revenues accounted for RMB 3.813 billion ($0.559 billion), while non-steel sector sales revenues accounted for RMB 9.771 billion ($1.435 billion). The total sales revenues for the quarter constitute 27.17 percent of the annual target, and show a RMB 4.49 billion ($0.658 billion) increase year on year.
