Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has signed a contract to supply 5,200 mt corrosion-resistant line pipe to a buyer from Iran, marking the entry of the company's line pipe into the export market.

The company stated the booking in question was the first export order it received after its development of production of X65 corrosion-resistant pipeline steel in 2011.
