Hailu Heavy Industry to supply CDQ boilers to Baosteel

Suzhou Province-based Chinese company Hailu Heavy Industry Co. has announced that it has won a tender to supply a coke dry quenching (CDQ) boiler to Chinese steel giant Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. (Baosteel Co.) and to supply another CDQ boiler to Baosteel subsidiary Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., with respective bids of RMB 55 million ($9.03 million) and RMB 41.2 million ($6.76 million).
 
The aggregate value of the two contacts is RMB 96.2 million ($15.8 million), equivalent to 6.86 percent of Hailu Heavy Industry’s total operating revenue in 2012.
 
Hailu Heavy Industry is primarily engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of exhaust heat boilers and large-scale pressure vessels.
