GIC increases its stake in Anshan Steel

Hong Kong Stock Exchange has announced that the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), a major sovereign wealth fund, has decided to raise its shareholding in Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Anshan Steel) by 2.668 million shares.  

                                                                           
Accordingly, GIC's stake in Anshan Steel has increased to 6.06 percent from 5.81 percent.
