Germany's passenger car output up 25.6 percent in Jan from Dec

In January this year, new passenger car registrations in the German market totaled 241,400 units, down 5.9 percent month on month and increasing by 11 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
 
According to the VDA, in January of the current year 462,900 passenger cars rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month increase of 25.6 percent and a year-on-year rise of 11 percent. 
 
In January this year, a total of 346,500 passenger cars were exported from Germany, up by 13.9 percent month on month and increasing by 11 percent compared to December last year.
