Germany's motor vehicle output increases further in July

In July of the current year, new motor vehicle registrations (including automobiles and commercial vehicles) in the German market totaled 299,190 units, down 2.39 percent month on month, but increasing by 6.44 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, January-July period of this year Germany's new motor vehicle registrations increased by 3.4 percent year on year, totaling 1,990,820 units.
 
According to the VDA, in June this year 561,020 motor vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month increase of 15.88 percent and a year-on-year rise of 20.44 percent. German automobile output in the first seven months of the current year amounted to 3,628,800 units, showing an 8.53 percent increase from the same period of 2013.
 
In July this year, a total of 427,350 motor vehicles were exported from Germany, up 20.84 percent month on month and increasing by 13.58 percent compared to July 2013. In the first seven month of this year, German motor vehicle exports amounted to 2,775,620 units, increasing by 8.09 percent year on year.
