Germany’s industrial output up 0.3 percent in October from September

In October this year, seasonally-adjusted industrial production increased by 0.3 percent in Germany compared to the previous month, while the corrected figure for September showed a decrease of 1.6 percent compared to August, according to the provisional data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
As compared to September, in October this year production excluding energy and construction increased by 0.1 percent, while the production of capital goods grew by 0.5 percent and output of consumer goods was up by 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, the production of intermediate goods decreased by 0.5 percent, while energy production declined by 0.5 percent and construction output saw a rise of 1.7 percent, all month on month.
