Germany's commercial vehicles output up seven percent in 2015

In December last year, commercial vehicle registrations in the German market totaled 30,410 units, down 6.23 percent month on month and increasing by nine percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, in 2015 Germany's commercial vehicle registrations increased by four percent year on year, totaling 333,780 units.
 
According to the VDA, in December last year 22,610 commercial vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month decrease of 28.21 percent and a year-on-year growth of 16 percent. German commercial vehicle output in 2015 amounted to 325,160 units, showing a seven percent growth  from 2014.
 
In December last year, a total of 18,290 commercial vehicles were exported from Germany, down by 21.43 percent month on month and increasing by 16 percent compared to December 2014. In 2015, German commercial vehicle exports amounted to 244,100 units, increasing by eight percent year on year.
