In October this year, commercial vehicle registrations in the German market totaled 28,016 units, down 2.4 percent month on month and decreasing by 15 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, in the first ten months of this year, Germany's commercial vehicle registrations increased by eight percent year on year, totaling 292,800 units.
According to the VDA, in October this year 27,110 commercial vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a month-on-month decrease of 12.4 percent and a year-on-year decline of 17 percent. German commercial vehicle output in the January-October period of the current year amounted to 263,300 units, declining three percent compared to the same period last year.
In the given month, a total of 19,850 commercial vehicles were exported from Germany, down by 14.6 percent month on month and decreasing by 15 percent compared to October last year. In the first ten months of the current year, German commercial vehicle exports amounted to 198,100 units, declining by two percent on year-on-year basis.
