German metal manufacturing turnover down 0.2 percent in July from June

In July this year, the seasonally and working-day adjusted turnover in the German manufacturing industry increased by 1.9 percent compared to June, according to the preliminary data reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In June this year, a corrected 1.9 percent decreased was registered compared to May. 
  
In July of the current year, the turnover of German metal and metal product manufacturing decreased by 0.2 percent compared to June, with domestic sales remaining stable and foreign sales down by 0.5 percent, month on month. 
 
In July, an increase of 1.3 percent was recorded in the turnover in manufacture of fabricated metal products in Germany, with domestic sales growing by 0.8 percent and foreign sales up by 2.2 percent, all compared to the previous month.
