German wholesale metal prices down 5.9 percent in March

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in March this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were 2.2 percent higher compared to March 2011, after a revised year-on-year increase of 2.6 percent recorded in February.
In March of the current year, the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany were down 5.9 percent as compared to March last year and up 0.7 percent over February this year.
