German wholesale metal prices down 3.6 percent in Nov

In November of the current year, the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were 2.2 percent lower compared to November 2012, following the 2.7 percent year-on-year price decrease recorded in October, as reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Meanwhile, the wholesale price index was 0.2 percent lower in November compared to October.
In November, a 3.6 percent year-on-year decline was seen in the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany, following the 4.7 percent year-on-year drop recorded in October. Meanwhile, the wholesale prices in the metal sector were down 0.5 percent in November compared to October.
