German wholesale metal prices continue to fall in July

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were two percent higher compared to July 2011, after a revised year-on-year increase of 1.1 percent recorded in June. The wholesale price index rose by 0.3 percent in July this year, compared with the previous month.

In July, the wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished metal products in Germany were down 5.1 percent as compared to July last year and down by 0.7 percent from June this year.
