German steel prices increase in July

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year prices of metals in Germany were higher by 8.8 percent as compared to the same month last year and were up 0.5 percent as compared to June this year, while pig iron, raw and rolled steel prices climbed by 4.8 percent year on year and were down 1.2 percent month on month.
 
In July, non-ferrous metal and semi-finished material prices had increased by 17 percent on year on year and were up 2.5 percent as compared to the previous month this year.
