According to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), Germany's passenger car output in July this year fell by five percent year on year to 388,400 units.
During the month in question, new passenger car registrations in Germany declined by 30 percent year on year to 237,500 units, while passenger car exports rose by six percent year on year reaching 312,400 units.
In the January-July period of 2010, Germany's total passenger car output reached 3,239,300 units, up 19 percent, passenger car exports amounted to 2,484,400 units, up 39 percent, while new registrations decreased by 29 percent to 1,706,300 units, all compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
