German iron ore import prices up 88.5 percent in February

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in February this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 88.5 percent year on year and was up 5.1 percent month on month. 
 
In February, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 27.9 percent year on year and was up 3.4 percent as compared to January.
 
Meanwhile, in February this year the import price of nickel increased by 23.2 percent compared to the same month last year and rose by 1.5 percent month on month.
